i’m pretty excited about jack teagle’s new comic “fight!” that’s coming out pretty soon…or i guess the first one is out and the second one is almost out? but i did notice from pics on his tumblr that his devil guy looks aaaaaawfully similar to jesse moynihan’s devil guy from “the backwards folding mirror” and “follow me” (which in turn looks pretty similar to another character, ghob, in “forming”). OOOOOOOOOOOOH!

i wonder if they are buds? jteags + jmoyns = best buds

in all seriousness, and to be fair, i haven’t seen much of jteags stuff other than what he posts on tumblr, but even though both dudes have similar styles, they definitely differ when it comes to story telling. i think jteags is more straight forward (and design-oriented? kinda graphic?) while jmoyns comics have a lot more stream-of-conscious feel. kinda dreamy if you feel like saying it that way and i do. but i am going to try to get my hands on fight! 1&2 as soon as possible. also also i wish i could get a copy of “follow me” somewhere.
